I'm not sure when it open I know it's been open at least 10 years because I've had a ID there for that long Now word on the street is that it was to close down then moved but where? The powers in charge want it out of downtown Diego because of all the money and people living there and of course the tourist who spent the most money 17th and K st.

San Diego Day Center | Aug 19, 2019

The center has been used since at least 1991. While the City of San Diego owns and funds the San Diego Day Center, Father Joe's Villages has staffed and operated it for many years. At this time, the Day Center is remaining in the same location.

It is located at the corner of 17th and K Street at the end of the dead end. I donate on Thursdays starting at 2pm.
