Threw away half my belongings diabetic equipment, clothing, and important documentation, said I was past 45 day check in limit although I had visited and they didn't record the visit, theft is huge here, many involved there are better places, find them.

Great place to relax and watch a movie and rest. They have clean restrooms and a great staff. Makes you feel safe and secure. J get my mail there a d feel safe that my mail is secure. The staff take great care of I.porta t packages. The last thing is every Thursday they give help getting g your picture Identification. The first five people get a voucher and a ride to get it. Much respect for the entire program.

Humm, where to start. You can receive mail there. Not in the best of areas they call that area the Lower bottoms lots of addicts, alcoholics they don't bother you. There's usually a line to get your mail. Showers on site, Social Services available upon request. Staff has a good attitude considering the population they are serving. They have a waiting room you can charge your phone, also, they have laundry services available to wash your clothes. Not sure if they provide detergent. Access point for Father Joe's Village a Homeless Shelter. Police presence is very heavy in that area so you don't have to be scared to walk around down there no one's going to bother.

I'm not sure when it open I know it's been open at least 10 years because I've had a ID there for that long Now word on the street is that it was to close down then moved but where? The powers in charge want it out of downtown Diego because of all the money and people living there and of course the tourist who spent the most money 17th and K st.
I personally bring donations in front every Thursday at 2pm.
Hi Michael, Yes, you can definitely pick up a new badge card without an ID. Just stop by the Day Center and speak to our staff at the front desk. They will help you get a new badge so you can pick up your mail.
Hi Jazmin, our staff at the San Diego Day Center can help you start the process of being added to the waitlist for emergency shelter and/or temporary housing or to apply for a match with a permanent housing resource. For more information, visit https://my.neighbor.org/get-help and check out the Shelter & Housing section. Thank you!
Some form of shelter, you can take the V-SPDAT there which can help you acquire more permanent housing. I believe they serve food there, if not there is a food truck with decent food that accepts ebt. You can sleep inside the courtyard if you have a tent. I believe they also have restrooms and showers too.
Nami didn't take this over. St. Vincent de Paul did. But nami did take over the friend 2 friend clubhouse.
You can do laundry there. And please call them for the times
Hi Michael, yes! An ID is not required to get a badge and access mail through the Day Center.
It is up to the person or company to decide what schould be done.
Yes you can they will let you make sure you have a chane or something you can tie him up with or have some one who can keep an eye on your dog. Neil good is a great place for help.
You have to register with the day center. It doesn't take long. You can get mail and register all in the same day. But you do need to register with it.
I get mail there. The address is 299 17th St., San Diego, CA 92101. You can pick up your mail anytime the mail pickup window is open.
They did shutdown the showers. And if they work now it's during the morning for men and afternoon for females. Thats how it use to be
Mon - Fri 7.30am - 3pm Sat - Sun 8am - noon

You can check your mail every day except Christmas...364 days of the year.. 6 am to 2:45pm Monday through Friday...and 6am to 12:45pm Saturday and Sunday....they also have a day room to watch TV amd charge your phone, they give out clothing, hygiene packs, storage for you stuff, Veterans services, you can wash your clothes, Housing, DMV help, and food to eat when people drop it off!
Derrick, I do know that during the first round of covid the center was helping with that service. If they aren't still helping with that I'm sure they can refer you to an agency that can. I also donate items on Thursdays at 2pm if you are needing clothes etc. IT varies in donations from week to week but wanted to let you know that's available as well.
I have an Identity ID Card problem. Is it ok to show a copy?
