I just bought a new to me 2005 Honda Civic ES - the radio needs a reset and there are 8 recalls on it - My driver's side seatbelt doesn't retract? do I need an appointment? Will there be a cost?

Hello! Thank you for your questions. There is no cost associated with recalls. Regarding the seat belt issue it seems likely that it would be covered under warranty, however, we would like to verify this with further vehicle information. We suggest that you call our service department to schedule an appointment to take care of your recalls and possible warranty work. Please have your vehicle's identification number (VIN) handy when you call in at 503-218-4844. Thank you!

I'm guessing here I don't represent the dealer. My guess is that if there's a recall on the radio that that should be fixed without any cost make sure you have the security code for the radio. As to the seatbelt that will probably not be under warranty and there would would I expect be a charge for that unless there's a recall against that too.
