We have a 2018 Terrain. We are traveling from Portland to Nebraska and just learned today that we need chains to go over the mountains. We also just learned that chains are not recommended for our vehicle. Do you have any suggestions.

Go to Walmart off of I84 in Troutdale or use cables.

If chains are not recommend for you vehicle than snow/traction tires would be your best option.
