oday I went to Family Worship Center like I do every Wednesday. over the last couple of weeks I went through that process of obtaining a service dog for my disability. Not only did David Monkton refuse to let me in the building he also intensely questioned me about my disability and yelled at me to show him proof. When Pastor Dan Hatton came to the situation I was already in tears, I had to use my inhaler, and I was visibly shaking. I tried to explain that what David was doing was illegal and that there is a sign on the door that says service animals are allowed. Dan told me that it's private property and that the rules that apply in public places don't apply there. He dismissed me by saying "bye bye now." I have been attending Wednesday night's at this church for more than 2 years. This church is known for discrimination. Pastor Dan openly says that homeless people are drug addicts who are hopeless and are only destructive. He has made several statements like this in the last couple of years that I brought up. He addresses me by my Catholic faith saying "Oh you Catholic you " when he talks to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They highly discriminate.
