Park stays open. But what's more noteworthy is the parking around the park at night time, if you're driving up there. Pay attention to the postings around the park saying parking is not allowed for a certain time of the day, everyday(I think 7pm to 7 am, but not sure). After evening you may have to park a few blocks away. If you're not driving, well.... enjoy the nice view! :)

The park is suppose to be empty at 10:00pm. Sometimes Police stop by park to get people to leave. Sometimes Police helicopter circles around park and tells people to leave.
