I like to spend 1 day in the zoo. Can you suggest how I should go around in such a large area and not missing out best sights or adventure. ? What time is the zoo opens and closed? There are 3 of us. We drive. Are there free parking?

Parking is free. Take the double layer bus and you will see major animals. Bus is free too.

Bus tours are 35 mins you can start with that and then plan around on which sections you want to cover.

Well, there many different approaches seeing the sights at the Zoo. You can sign up for guided tours, you can focus on one exhibit area and head there or you can meander at a leisurely pace. I prefer to meander. I get to see so much more of Zoo, than if i hurry, trying to get to a specific event/tour. So meander. There is free parking and there is a map just past the entrance into the Zoo. You can also see some of the day's events listed online if you really must have a definitive time schedule. I think the earliest the Zoo is open is at 9 am - that's actually a really good time to go because the animals are more active than if you go later in the afternoon, when it is hotter and of the animals are asleep. And the Zoo closes around 5 or 7. You can sign up for an evening tour. Those are really fun, too. Hope that helps

Zoo timing is 9-6. Parking is free. Make sure take the bus tour to get the most out of your visit.

It opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm pst.Ist of all take a tour bus which is available for free and thereafter take a walk around tour.
