We used the San Diego Go Card. Allows for both the Zoo and Safari Parks and many others. Worth a look if you are spending days out there.

60 dollars. I can remember when it was free if you were under 16!!
$60 for adults. 40ish for kids. There is a student discount which I believe is 20% off. I was able to get a pamphlet at the hotel I stayed at that had a 5 dollar off coupon
