I'm shocked to learn you are a kill shelter. How long do you keep a dog, if not adopted, before you kill the poor fur baby? Also, what types of campaigns are done to promote adoptions thru Hernando county animal shelter?

It use to be 7 days i think but I know they keep them till they need room it's kitten season now so all the shelters and fosters are overrun 😢 If people would have their animals fixed so they can't reproduce...less animals would be killed Also feral cats are being sterilized, an ear clipped and returned to their group..that's better than dead..but they need donations to do this These two things are the answer to overpopulation...not death Adopt ..don't shop..
