Parking was free when I whent during normal morning and daytime hours.
Does anyone know how long the hike is? Also is there a parking fee?
No dispersed camping is legal in the Trabuco Ranger District, so a ranger said. Hard to believe, but they are packed with environmentalists so not too surprising. The falls, which are only good after lots of rain, are on forest service land. Parts around the road are not. It's one of those checkerboard patterns you can see and print out using a padus map, protected area database United States. If you have an Android phone you can use the free version of the us topo maps ap. Busy highway so parking overnight to the side of the highway may not be good. Not sure of the legality if camped off Forest service land.
It is right on a highway, so I would not advise camping, and not enough flat laying area, its more for hiking, lots of bushes, boulders, but I think there is a camping area about three miles before you reach the hike/falls area.
