Are they able to take in cats without paying a fee? I have too many cats in my house that I’m trying to get rid of because I can’t keep them anymore and every year more and more cats are being born and I can’t afford to get them spayed or neutered

I’ve posted them on social media and all I got were negative comments and people telling me to get them spayed and neutered but it’s too much for 5 cats

Yes! They take in relinquished animals. No they do not charge for it. They might look at you funny but just explain the situation. They won't turn you away. My husband works there. You could also post pics of the cats you want to relinquish on Facebook or any social media sites to see if you can find them homes yourself. That would be my first suggestion as the humane society is always so full and the work their butts off trying to adopt the animals they already have. So as a good samaritan, doing the work on your own is most appreciated to the employees of the humane society as well as probably your cats (its very traumatic to be taken from your home to a jail where there are all kinds of other frightened animals whom there owners have given up on) so for your cats sake do the work on your own first PLEASE!!!!Plus if you try that first the funny looks will be a littleless when you take in (especially multiple) relinquished animals. Good luck to you and I'm praying for your cats!
