Not really. This is a public beach. There are plenty of areas to have picnics or family/work gatherings.
That is a very good question... They have plenty of picnic table and grills and few firepits out on beach as well. I didn't see any #'s in any areas so my guess would be first come. It does get very very full during the hollidays from my experience I get there a whole day or 2 sooner to find what parking lot to sleep at so that way you get better,closer,and the area you want because it can get crazy especially during 4th of July weekend. Everyone that wants a spot camps out for days to just get a spot. I hope I was of some help.
