Assuming you meant "sand" in your question, yes it is a wide sandy beach. There is a boardwalk between a grassy park area and the sand. But if you want to get into the water, getting sand between your toes is pretty inevitable.
I walked the beach with a 4 month old strapped to the front of my body. I was barefoot, late February the sand was a comfortable temperature. The sand won't stick to your feet unless you get them wet. Usually by the time you walk back to your vehicle you would have little if any left on your feet. If you did it would be very easy to wipe it of with just your hand. I didn't get sand anywhere else, and there wasn't any blowing sand or anything like that.
