Under some circumstances yes, but we highly recommend training, appropriate areas for scratching (which is a natural behavior), and trying nail caps first. Declawing requires surgical amputation at the last knuckle of each digit, and due to the location of surgery (the feet, which must be walked on) has a higher rate of post-operative complications than most surgeries.
