We recently moved into the area and have tried for several months to make appointments for our pets. We are told every time, 6 to 8 weeks for well visits with our local vet. This time around, I called to see if we could get something sooner somewhere else and we found Chewelah Veterinary Clinic. We were able to make appointments for all 5 of our babies on the same day, (not and easy thing to do) and all babies were treated with uttermost kindness and respect. Zero needs eye surgery and was given a date for the following week. Friendly and supportive staff, explained everything to us including estimates and I was pleasantly surprised with our final bill. I may be new to the area, but I know a great thing when I see it. I am so happy we were able to get or babies ready for summer. Fantastic experience and will recommend whenever possible!

Worst place In the world!! Don’t take your dog here unless your ready to fork out $5,000 for an appointment to save your dogs life and then they turn around and keep him for 5 hours and then call you to get your dog because they can’t do anything and tell you to go to somebody else but hey don’t forget to pay because we did nothing but stick it to you!! Never again!

I.love this vet!! We moved to the area recently and have been to a couple of vets but they didn't meet our needs. Our first exsperence here was great!! Thanks to the staff for making us and our little ones feel welcome. I will be using them for all my pets care.

Love them just had my female heeler spayed last week they meet you out side and then take the pet inside
Under some circumstances yes, but we highly recommend training, appropriate areas for scratching (which is a natural behavior), and trying nail caps first. Declawing requires surgical amputation at the last knuckle of each digit, and due to the location of surgery (the feet, which must be walked on) has a higher rate of post-operative complications than most surgeries.
We do treat hamsters and other exotics/pocket pets. You can contact our office at 509-935-6424 to make an appointment to have your little one seen.

For cats, there is Stevens County Cat Care. For cats and dogs, there is the a clinic from Deer Park, I believe it's called Northeast Spay and Nueter Alliance. Both require advance appointments.
They are very good if that's what needs to be done. They will give your dog a shot to make them sleep and then give them the shot to put them down. That way your pet is unaware. If they don't think its necessary they sometimes will offer to take the dog and rehome them.
