do you have to have a prescription for orthotics? Shoe Inserts? I don't have anything but applehealth and cannot afford to see the doctor to get new inserts when he doesn't take applehealth.

They have generic inserts there that come in a wide variety. I have state insurance too. My dr visits are free even the orthopedic. Your dr can write you an Rx for inserts. Once they have that they will take a mold of your foot and cast inserts. It was all free with applecare for me.

They have a machine that will fit the Orthotics to your feet. I've been going to Altheas for well over 10 years.. Would recommend as I am diabetic
