Hello. We recommend a low-Nitrogen fertilizer, for example a 6-10-10 (where the numbers represent the nutrients: Nitrogen-Phosphate-Soluble Potash). Bone meal and Super Phosphate are also good options for fertilizing. We recommend a light application of fertilizer about the time that tulips are blooming in your area (which is approx. 1 month prior to the start of iris bloom season).
