I have heard reports that you do accept #1 plastic. Is that true? I only saw bins at your facility for styrofoam. thanks

Dear Ron, No, the Tigard plant is only converting polystyrene plastic at this time. If it has a #6 we can take it!

Styrofoam should be #6 (PS, polystyrene) and they definitely take that. #1 is PET, PETE, polyethylene based. I'm not 100% sure if they take that, but if styrofoam is what you have they for sure take that.
