Is your normal policy to take a customer's credit card when one's order is 1st given--for running the tab--and to keep the card until the customer is ready to pay the bill? Server did this when I was there at 8pm today, Aug. 30.

Yeah, they know me by name, I bring tourists by there all the time, and they still do this with me. It's carte blanche. People enjoy the beer, get tipsy, and walk off forgetting to pay their tab on the regular. This helps close that loop.
