My TV is a newer TV not even a year old. Moved into a place that has basic cable already. My question is that my cable works but we can't get my TV on Channel. 3 or 4. Can anyone help?

I assume you have attached the coaxial cable directly into the TV. You should be able to scan for channels in your TV's setup mode. If that doesn't work you may need a cable set top box.
