hello, my wife and I are on the rocks, she does not want to go to therapy, (she has her own according to her) is it worth me going to Gottard counseling without her? Thx, Dave.

I think you might mean Gottman counseling? Any type of couples couples counseling could be helpful, but in some cases it is not, depending upon the issues. Her not wanting to go might make it hard for it to happen. You can call our agency at 360-281-6824 to inquire who we might have available. Good luck on your process in finding the help you are looking for. Robert Johnson

Attending your own individual counseling can be helpful, giving you a chance to examine your part of the relationship. And if you were meaning Gottman (like John Gottman) I think his concepts can also be helpful to learn how to apply, as an individual or as a couple. Please contact our office at 360-281-6824 if you are interested in scheduling a first time appointment.
