They are not what they used to be. They HAD some good instructors and received many glowing reviews, one past one was my own. It’s terribly sad, and is really a large apart of americas problem. GREED & EGO. They have decreased the quality of product and of course, like everyone else increased the price. It is unbelievable what was done to my hair. They brushed it out just right for the pic so I could not see my entire scalp & underneath look like an orange spotted cheetah. The young gal was allowed to “try a NEW technique” on me, without ANY supervision. My hair is falling out today!!!! They way they hurried me out the door and brushed my hair to cover it was gross. Had they just owned up and corrected it, I would not be writing this review. But I am tired of wasting my money and getting ripped off. Period. It needs to stop. The instructors “Too Cool For School” mentality is really asinine; especially considering their position within the school. Its a show. It’s sad, like many businesses; they used to be good. Your hair will look much different outside in the actual light. Trust me, go to AVEDA or just by a box now.

The stylists were really nice and mine constantly asked if I liked it. Everything turned out fantastic and the hair style lasted over 7 hours of moving, dancing, and moving around

I have been coming to Elite on and off for a few years now and everyone there is incredibly nice! This last time there were a couple sections of my hair that just weren’t quite right, and when I called to discuss with one of the instructors, Kaylee, she was super understanding and helpful. While I decided to go to a different salon to get my hair touched up rather than come back in, she did offer to have me come in to get some additional foils or even just a retone and deep condition which was extremely generous. This place is perfect if you are looking for all over color, hair treatments/masks, cuts and styles. If you go for highlights or really any coloring service, keep in mind appointment times will be a bit longer since the students are still learning and the work won’t be equivalent to what you would get if you go to a salon with stylists who have been in the practice for years! All in all I do really like this place and everyone I have met there and if you aren’t super nit picky about your hair, definitely give this place a shot.

I will not name the beautician I had as I do not feel it was completely her fault but for the instructions given to her via the instructors. Went in for an ombre color change which required bleaching my hair, she didn't listen to where I asked her to start the bleach as I wanted my natural color to blend down so she had the bleaching way up near my scalp...we were going to go rinse but the instructor told her to leave it in longer... Once we rinsed, the color was applied and didnt take to my hair so I had to return the following week to reapply color. It took a little, I didn't want to go through anymore treatments so we called it good. Then my hair started breaking off at the bleach point where it meets my natural color. I have HUGE chunks of hair missing from my head. Not a little but, a lot. I completely regret my decisions of having my hair bleached and colored here. I've never had such a crummy experience anywhere. My hair is destroyed and I can't do anything with it since half of it is missing in chunks and looks ridiculous. I wasn't expecting the best since this is a school, but I was not expecting this outcome. Miserable.
