It seems like most customers understand the no other drink and food policycould you please put up a description of the policy and a brief justification here for folks so they know what to expect before getting to the store?

To add to this, their policy is to not allow any outside food or drinks into the store at any time. You can imagine a scenario where someone brings a cookie with a nut topping in, eats it at a table, and leaves some crumbs that could severely affect the next person that eats at that table if, say, they have a nut allergy. I suppose you could bring outside food in in a sealed bag or tucked away in a backpack but you can not bring even a Starbucks or food from somewhere else. You must finish it, trash it, or leave it outside before entering for other custoners' safety.

Start Lane bakery is a dedicated facility with those who have allergens. They are known for their cakes. They do make other dessert goodies like any other bakery. They don't use any soy, dairy, gluten, peanuts, or any tree nuts. Everything tastes delicious 😋!! But they use refined sugar, if your ok with that. Hope this helps. Happy cake hunting
