I was also wondering how come they don't put up the dogs that are available on the website? Because its been a month and i haven't seen him there. I just want to make sure he is okay as well, but thank you for your repsonse. My friend moved in L.A after she lost him and they called her and she couldnt get him back.
As far as I know, they will hold them up for a period of time depends, I try to adopt a dog and they put a hold in the dog... it was a round 10 days I think then the dog will become available to adoption (let's said is a "grace period" so the owner can come forward) if the owner doesn't claim the dog then becomes available for adoption. You will have to place an aplication they will "screen" you and go from there, plus the adoption fee. I know for sure that if the pet isnt neutered/spayed you will wait till they do so then you can take it
