Haven't seen it in a month. It could have moved more into the wildlife refuge away from the construction going on.
Spotted him just now 4/15.immediately north of the northern boundary of the preserve on the bay side.
I think he finally figured out that he wasnt supposed to be here lol,, i havent had much time to go over and check it out but when it gets really hot they dint like it,, i have to be in town tomorrow so I'll wwing over to the area and see if he id still around
It IS still there. I got this information from San Diego Refuges via a question I asked in twitter "(@SanDiegoRefuges) tweeted at 7:35 PM on Tue, Apr 10, 2018: Still there! We went to go check it out it’s been hanging at the Otay River mouth in the open bay water; which isn’t viewable from the outer edges of the refuge. I’ll be posting pics tomorrow!"

It might have left but could still be near the estuary
We thought we saw him up towards silver strand more.
