Who ever found them probably hasn't taken them to the vet. If they had...they would have called. Sorry 😢 Consider adopting. They are over run with pitbulls mostly due to evictions and not being able to take a "dangerous" dog to their new place. They are sweet 98% of them.
Yes. Pets have been located years after they are lost. I had a dog returned to me 2 years after he was lost. It would require the dog to be checked by a vet and reported to the authorities Good luck.
If you knew what chip company you registered with they could track it down
