Is the Shimano Sedona FI 2500 a good size of reel for steelhead fishing on the clackamas River?

I prefer the 2500s. Most of the time spent steelheading is casting and reeling. The lighter weight reel is really nice. Filled with braid and 9 foot flouro top shot you will have plenty of line.

Good starter reel but agree the 4000 is better
