It depends on what kind of Apt you chose. Studios are the least expensive.
"Assisted Living" is where the "extra cost" comes in. My mother is independent living and her rent is approximately $4400.00 per month.
I have some extras. A 1 bdr. Apt., baths, medications, dressing and I pay 7600. Deducting extras, the base rate is 3720.
