I am a Vietnam Vet with four years active duty and two years inactive. I am not disabled. I have my DD214. May I obtain dental care at the Togus VA Medical Center?

For your dental care, you have to be 100% service connected disabled or you have a service connected dental disability. If not, you may not use the VA Dental service. It's same as all VAMCs. Just because you have DD214 does not mean you can get a medical care at Togus. You will have to find out whether you are eligible and what you are eligible for. If your disability rating is over 50% then you can use Togus for everything EXCEPT DENTAL.

Yes if you are enrolled you may be covered under the new mission act to have care locally or at Togus for many services. Please contactTogus eligibility office and they can help you. You also must have a primary care Dr at Togus to receive services in the community. if you live far from Togus or if we do not offer the service. Hope this helps
