At every veterinary office you have to drop off in the AM and pick up in the PM. That gives them time to service all the animals. All the animals are ready and waiting at 5 or 6 to be picked up. ACT is a great place! God bless!!
That is how it is at every office to have an animal spayed or neutered, you bring your animal in the morning and pick them up in the evening. When you made your appointment for your surgery they should have explained that and also not to feed your animal and what to expect. ACT is a great place. They should have also giving instructions and meds to go home with when you left that evening.
That has been my usual experience with pet surgery. I've never had a problem with them.
