Have you ever been denied a refund at home Depot because the cashier could not scan the barcode on your receipt? i returned 5 plants, had receipts for all of them. got refunded for just 4 plants and the cashier kept both of my receipts!!

That's weird. As long as you have the card you paid with or if you have an online account connected to it or pro account they can look up all your purchases. If it's cash they should have given you a gift card for the purchase.

This isn’t right! They can access your credit by your receipt & give you credit or cash based on how you paid. I like Home Depot

Never had this issue, but you can always have your receipt emailed to you as well, so this might help in the future. That way you have it electronically saved and they can't have an issue🥰
