Good variety of plants and planters. I had a beautiful dried arrangement put together around Thanksgiving and it still looks great. At this location, they do a great job and offer care tips, lovely and helpful.

The staff are very friendly, informative, and helpful. The plant selection is diverse and healthy. I love that they also have dried floral stems and wreaths! I also like how the plants are arranged with their needs to sunlight, full sun plants are going to be closest to the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows. I love the ambiance of The Fernseed, it is so bright and open.This shop has a wide variety of well selected pots, with many made by local potters. I picked up a really cute birthday card, a local made planter, jade plant, and a cute plant mister as a gift for a friend. For myself I got an adorable variegated jade, waxy ivy, and an aloe plant and a really cute spherical planter. It’s really neat that this shop does a plant punch card too! I have purchased plants from the Proctor Street location and have been very happy with the quality of plants, my monstera is thriving with lots of new baby leaves.

Made two visits- the first was to purchase some plants for my significant other. That purchase included a couple of sick plants that the lady admitted were likely to die. (I took the chance that we could help them as we have with countless other rare plants) My significant other has a degree in horticulture and saved one of the two. We returned a few weeks later to inform that one was not making it, the other that survived is thriving magnificently! We were hoping for at least a discount on another purchase, but that did not happen. We also overheard one of the employees giving the wrong advice for a plant that another customer was purchasing- then witnessed the employee repot that plant in a vessel not designed for the plant it was about to house. So, not sure how much legit knowledge these employees have, nor am I convinced that they are supporting their own product without any post-purchase care. All-in-all, they have “okay” selection, some steep pricing and so-so customer support/service. I wouldn’t depend on their undereducated advice. Nice people, none the less.

😂 walk in to pick up an online order of starter pots to refill my gifting stock but end up asking for assistance in finding a plant to redirect my dieting cat's attention from the plants i am growing as gifts all while still looking stylish and outgrowing his grazing (Hes going after EVERYTHING 😼). My associate was Super lovely to work with, knowledgeable, and Ted adores our new love fern. I wish i had thanked her more for her time and expertise in choosing a pet safe option. Update: Francy now has a friend named Bob. This is quickly getting out of hand and i love it.
