Route 2 is far from run down, they've only been open a couple years. Good is amazing and 29 taps to choose from, how can you really go wrong? Like any restaurant, I'm sure they have their off days, food, service and whatnot. But I've been there numerous times and only had one meal that seemed not on par to their typical. Food menu isn't vast, but as long as they do what they have well, then that's still a winning combination.
Large beer selection. Good food. The best real rootbeer ever!
The food is fine for the most part but definitely pub food. If you're not coming for the beer, go elsewhere.

I really enjoy conning here, the food is better than the average bar food. the Fries are soooo unique and incredible good and crispy. Burgers are yummy and chicken strips are large and filling. The other menu items vary and some are stylish trendy and smallish. overall is an awesome place. and to me the beer selection, and the Fries are so so worth it.
The food is decent, and the menu selection varied, as long as steak is not on your wish list. I think their menu is posted on their website.
The apitisers are grate they have drumsticks from heaven just pick your flavor. The meal selection is not real big but its prepared well and vary flavorful
I think it might depend on the day. It came highly recommended to us but when we went the prime rib in the sandwich tasted really old...it was Tuesday and they had a prime rib special on Friday. The place seemed kind of dirty and run down overall. My husband had a sandwich special that he could barely eat because it also tasted old and the fries tasted and smelled like dirty grease. Some friends of ours went the same night and they said their meals were not good either...which they said was unusual. The service was really good, the waitress was attentive and friendly We might try it one more time just to make sure it wasn't just a bad day because it is so well recommended by friends.
