i have been going there for Years. The food is fantastic and the servers were always great. I went with a brand new group of over 17 people today. All of us ordered full meals and all of us tipped very well. I was unable to eat all of my dinner so i asked for boxes to package it up to take home. I love to eat the left overs with the chips n salsa, so asked if i could have a container to take what was Already on the table home. With a sneer, the manager told me that they usually don't allow that and I shouldn't have ordered extra because it isn't fair because its free. Ridiculously enough it was just what was ordered originally for the Large group of people we had Come in with. When I referenced that the restaurant on Frylands would never have acted that way, he said we were more than welcome to eat there from then on. I guess 20 years of being a customer means nothing to him. I hope the restaurant on Frylands appreciates their referral and new business. I would have Happily paid for a side of beans, chips n salsa like I have for the last 20 yrs if I had been treated with the tiniest bit of respect and just been asked to. The food would have gone in the garbage anyway. There was absolutely No reason for me not to take it home.

Our favourite restaurant. It’s a family run place with amazing and genuine staff. The service is always top notch, and the food is incredible. The salsa is like liquid gold, and you get endless complimentary homemade salsa and chips. If you can’t decide what to order, just get the “No Name”. It’s a smaller delicious deep fried burrito that’s absolutely smothered in melted cheese. It’s stuffed with tender and flavourful shredded chicken.

This was an outing with friends lingering over a meal to enjoy each others' company. The staff brought us chips and drinks immediately and were attentive, but not intrusive throughout the meal. The food was quite good and we've had plenty of Mexican. Nice salsa, good Cadillac margaritas, spot-on enchiladas and excellent chicken asada. They did a great job and we will definitely return.
