Lake Tye provides plenty for all ages. For the children there is a sizable varied play area which is near seating for the parents. For the sports enthusiast are plenty of #fishing areas, and a boat launch, although no lifeboats are provided, as well as a #skatepark, tennis court and sports field. Hiking, running and walking trails are a decent length. Swimming is also available. And of course there are a number of bird varieties to see including hawks and eagles occasionally. Bathrooms are available in the main park area. The park is well maintained. And although there are no food vendors on-site there are restaurants nearby. The only thing missing is an enclosed dog park area.

Nice place for a summer outing. As we went on a weekend it was too crowded. The lake was perfect for small kids to let go of their fear of waters. The park had picnic shelters that were all occupied and we sat down under the trees. There's also a play area for kids of varying ages. A skate park is located here which was very interesting for the kids and beginner skaters. The cons were limited parking lots and not-so-clean restrooms.

Playground for all kids small and big, shelter, clean restrooms, a beautiful view to the lake and a skateboarding area. What more can one ask for?! We loved it!

Fun playground equipment for kids of all ages to enjoy. 3 types of ducks in the lake, lots of people & limited parking up close but plenty of parking in the extra lot. Skate park. Easy access in & out of traffic. Nice folks for the most part.

Farmers market moved to Galaxy theater parking lot this year. I would suggest contacting Monroe Chamber of Commerce to get in touch with people who run Farmers market to get a booth.
https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/locations/lowland-lakes/tye-lakemanmade lake is stocked with catchable-size and jumbo triploid rainbow trout in the spring. Plentiful shore access is provided at Lake Tye Park. Alternative angling opportunities include largemouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead
On Frylands Blvd. There is a light between the playground and the skate park. (Or on a larger scale between the elementary school and the lake.
Yes as long as you have a licence if you are 15 years or older. Also you can fish until dark
