I started when I was 40, no problem. This gym starts with an intro class that is a very solid foundation, I'm now in my fifth year of training. The time to get started in BJJ is now, so much fun, great people, great exercise.
Not at all! I started in my late 30s and am now 45, and many of my friends in their 50s and 60s still train hard and compete. At Bellingham BJJ we have a wide age range of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students -- from 10 years old to 60. It's a great martial art for folks of all ages.
