The Roseland has air conditioning. It is usually comfortable or cold inside.
When I went we were a block away, an hour from the opening and still got good spots. But if you want the front and center, I would bet a hour and a half. It depends on what you're doing in the venue. Dancing of course it will be hot. But I assume its not as hot in the 21+ section (Upper seating).
