It is not a raging river during the summer months. Area's where you can walk across just getting your feet wet. Or other spots where you can float and swim in lazy water. Was also there the 4th of july
There are a couple of nice swimming holes I was there over the 4th of July and was great
Where I was, I would not swim comfortably. But I was there the first week of May, so I am sure spring runoff was still happening. I do not know what it is like currently.
