Discovery pass needed (was $35 for a year I think right now). But if you already have one it's free to camp here. Positive: Maintained roads and campgrounds. Fairly flat and easy to walk around. Lots of large spaces with tables and fire pits. Lots of parking for walk in camping. Large open spaces with frisbees golf. Designated horse camping spaces. Neutral: Bathrooms were clean but smelled since just a hole in the ground. Reasonably quiet. People around 10 seemed to calm down and shut off music. Still some loud drunk people arguing. I imagine it'd be a lot louder at night during summer. Negative: no garbage or dumping. No water. No phone service what so ever. (No wifi or normal internet access, no texting, no calls).

Very nice, no reservations needed campground. Will say that driving on the grass with big campers will take a toll in time.

This is a nice area to come to during the summer. There's no real upfront cost besides having the necessary standard passes one would need. There's also actual bathrooms (If you know where to look) for the general public. There's also a few places that people could take their camper vans and fifth wheels as well. This is just a great place to unwind in general.

On our cross-country road trip from Georgia to Bellingham, this campground was by far our most favourite! We happened to be there for the first majorly hot day. Couldn’t have been more thrilled to have an epically cold river to dip into. And with all that dust kicking up from trucks driving by… and the pollen puffs that floated everywhere from early morning, it was incredible to wash off in the river. I found it was so odd to see few fire rings for the amount of tent space. For times like these when we need to keep distance from strangers, this campground has loads of space between each site. That was really great! Don’t forget to get your Discovery Pass! $30/annual fee. Oh and I don’t know if it depends on the carrier but we had no cell reception.

There are some walk-in tent sites right near the creek (2 min walk) but you can’t drive your car/rv right there.
There used to be tons, but as mentioned, most have closed as the area is much more developed now, unfortunately ;(
Room is not an issue. There's plenty of parking. Depends a little on which fork you go to but any should be able to accommodate any size of trailer. These are big open campground.
No reservations required, discover pass is required. Spots are spread around, arrive early for the best spots on busy weekends, or you may have to share a general area with others.
It is not a raging river during the summer months. Area's where you can walk across just getting your feet wet. Or other spots where you can float and swim in lazy water. Was also there the 4th of july
There are picnic tables at most spots but not all
Yes there is a burn ban. Propane is still allowed at this time. Check for updates the day of your arrival.
