It was closed today, due to the front steps being remodeled/repaired.
Regular business hours are very ish. It is a volunteer run business (except for the owner) and sometimes it's closed due to illness or volunteers not showing up, or sometimes just to go grab a bite to eat, but its rare. Sorry you found two days of that :/
