It’s not often I write a review—let alone for a place of worship. I am compelled to write to help others in a similar circumstance. Unfortunately, my family’s experience with my dear Aunt Jerry’s funeral during the Covid pandemic was abysmal. Jerry served this church as a faithful contributing member for 66 years. She recently passed at 101 years of age. I understand that only a small number of people could attend. I understand that music was limited. What I do not understand is why the priest responsible for the funeral could not have respected Jerry and her family enough to give her son a phone call to elicit personal information about Jerry and her family. It is unforgiveable when a phone call was all that needed along with a few questions to update the priest’s knowledge about the loyal parishioner whose soul he spoke. Beware. Be proactive if you find yourself in a similar circumstance. And yes, you might think it is the responsibility of the family to provide that information, but after 66 years of service and some fairly recent service; I believe her son thought the church had this information. As my cousin said, “101 bells at the end of the service, but not one personal word about Jerry.”

Went to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting there. It's women only with some strong personalities. It was great.

St, Michaels is very open to everyone. The people are so loving and kind, it has been my home and the people make me and my family feel welcomed. Very welcoming to others who are new, and or are curious to try a new church.
