The rentable room is best. I did that with my friends for a long time. Best to reserve it ahead of time though.
Yes it is a great place to do d&d and they have a great selection of minis. They also have a private room to play d&d in that you can rent out. Not sure of the costs for the room. But they have tables for general play in the store as well.
They do have all kinds of pencil and paper games, including D&D and Pathfinder. Lots of tables setup to game on as well.
