Are the best dentists I found in my whole life and I'm in my 50s
There are 3 ways to whiten. First, Crest or similar over the counter whitening strips. They have a low concentration of hydrogen peroxide. They work, but slowly. Second, my favorite option are custom made whitening trays. Because they are a perfect fit you can use a 9% concentration whitening gel. It takes about 5-10 minutes daily for a week for most people to reach their desired whitening level. Third, in-office whitening. I recommend this for people who have an event coming up and they need white teeth immediately. In about 2 hours your teeth will be as white or whiter than a week with the custom trays. However, your teeth will be sore. I’ve personally tried all 3 methods. Whitening will not damage healthy teeth. However, if you have cavities they will get bigger fast with whitening. So, check with your dentist before starting any whitening protocol. - Nick Wilson DDS
