It's my favorite place in Anacortes. I have gotten all my best books from them. I am an artist and have found my best books on composition and color here, and my very best one is a 120-year-old reprint by Arthur Wesley Dow. The staff and owners are very sensitive people and knowledgeable about every type of book they sell. They make everyone in their store feel special.

If you love books and coffee, go no further! Such an amazing bookstore (majority used and amazing prices). Friendly and knowledge staff, I spent a good hour plus perusing and never felt pressured or rushed, but just the opposite. From the outside it doesn’t look like much. But whatever subject/topic you’re looking for, they probably have. I interior has an amazing wood finish that adds to the coziness. There is a coffee shop inside and places to sit, read, and work. Don’t miss out if you’re in Anacortes. 🤓

Great used book store! Huge variety of books, plus a coffee shop inside (no indoor seating though). They also sell greeting cards for every occasion and stickers. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

Used books, delicious coffee, live piano, and a cozy atmosphere. Be still our hearts! If only if we could sit down then they’d basically have to have dragged us out of this place. :) Fantastic place to hang out for a couple of hours and browse books (and purchase many) and me sip on a Vanilla Bean Latte (splurged with the flavor and it resulted in a delectable dessert). I’m always puzzled by people who don’t keep books they’ve purchased. But I also adore them cause then I can buy, read, and enjoy them (and keep them until death do me apart from them). We were in town to eat at our favorite Greek restaurant and needed a place to shelter from the rain and wind and this bookstore-coffee combo absolutely hit the spot. Will definitely be back the next time our adventures takes us this way. They had figgy buns and Rosemary sea salt rolls that looked and sounded delicious, but have to save my appetite for Greek food. I’m usually just a plain old latte person, but I was intrigued by “vanilla bean” and the simple syrup they make is much better than the usual coffee shop syrups. I’m happy I splurged and tried it. The foam on top was simply the best I’ve sipped. -TheHikingBookworms
