It's an unbelievable view, something Hollywood couldn't even replicate. And the the best pictures of it can't fully capture its majesty.
It's amazing. You are at the most Northwest point you can go on foot of the continental United States. The scenery is amazing (lighthouse, ocean, beaches), even the trail is beautiful.
You are standing on a wooden platform overlooking a light house on an island. You can see & hear waves crashing in!
It's a long drive to get there, but once you start walking on the path down, you will know how Worth it it is. Once you see the water and the scenery it will blow your mind. It's truly beautiful.
It is absolutely gorgeous. I could stay there all day just overlooking the cliffs and the large rocks that the waves are crashing against.
It's about 3/4 mi hike down to the view. Truly breathtaking. I've been many times. Do not under any circumstances go over the speed limit once you get to Neah Bay! Cops are tough there!
So you walk down a path and some of it is paved with wooden planks and its so pretty. The over look is on a raised up wooden platform. You can see an island with a light house on it! Sometimes there are puffins!
A little windy, fairly isolated, but quite a few people on a nice day.
