They also have Canoes, 2 person Kayaks, and Paddle boards. I would recommend going upriver first and down river on your way back. This gives time to relax and practice paddling. Safe travels.
The employees will help you carry the kayak down to the water and help you get in and out. The water is super calm and a great place for a beginner
