I found a small dog and called her owners but they refused to take her back. I want to get her in for check up and see if it’d be possible to get a chip or papers to officially adopt her. How will I go about that?

The pup is lucky to have you! Dr. Skandara can definitely check her out. You might have to work with Hillsborough county pet resource center to adopt the dog officially.

Definitely talk to them, they are open Saturday morning to early afternoon. Best thing to do is call them after 9am Saturday morning, they are closed on Sunday an Mondays. Hope that helps alittle. I love 4paws, only vet I'd recommend
