Why is this no longer a real truck stop? $30 cover to get into bar? Can't drop trailers? Not allowed to leave "truck stop ". Guess it's just another tourist place, no longer a trucker truck stop. SAD.

Hi Steve, we are a truck stop, but we also have a country music venue that sometimes hosts national touring acts. Last night the group Sweet Tea Trio was playing, and tickets were $15. If you want a drink but don't want to pay for a concert ticket, the Cascade Grill serves the same drinks that are available in the Ponderosa. You are also welcome to drop your trailer in our paid parking area.

What's the difference if I leave my truck & trailer there and take a Lift to my friends house OR drop the trailer and ride over with tractor.. ?? $28.75 more payment for Cab ride.. It would be cheeper to just pay for parking..
