Is cardboard recycling free
The other Kris is right except for you can't get your containers back anymore, so plan on leaving them.
I've recycled used motor oil and coolant there if it's kept separated and it didn't cost anything. Up to 4 each of 5gallon buckets. I just drop them off where they tell me to and go buy new buckets, but you can wait for an attendant to empty your buckets if you want to keep them (which can mean a lot of waiting depending on how busy they are). I've seen people put cardboard, bottles, and paper in bins near where they direct you where to go also and I think that recycling may be free also.
