Silverdale has rentals but not sure of price. It also depends on how far you want to commute or catch a bus. Kitsap transit has routes that go to Bangor.
Bangor used to have lots of enlisted quarters available...while others on base do pay partial rent. Just go to housing sign up, but Cunningham is right, expensive out in town. Good luck.
Look for apartments should be 1400 - 1700 a month, housing is hard to come by here so start looking early. Housing has a 6 month wait so get on list early also.
